The image shows a fish-shaped island in Croatia’s Adriatic Sea. Gaz is the name of the island. One of the very few islands in the world with this shape is the small island of Gaz. Situated on the West Istrian Coast, Gaz is a part of Brijuni, a national park. It is one of the park’s two big islands and twelve tiny inlets.
It’s entertaining to look at for several reasons. While fish swimming in the ocean is nothing new, fish-shaped islands are not. It presents an angle that is simply unfamiliar to us.
