The necklace, which features “over 300 diamonds, including baguettes, brilliant, and pear-shaped pendant stones,” was created in the 1950s by renowned American jeweller Harry Winston. When the Queen went to the Gulf Kingdom in 1979, King Khalid, Faisal’s successor, gave her another necklace.
