3. Create a Birdbath Out of an Old Sink
Materials: brick, decorative seashells or stones, hand saw, PVC pipe, drain plug, wall-mounted vintage sink, and three-inch wood screws
Making Cost: $40* (Minus Sink)
One may be tempted to simply toss an old, worn-out sink that you tore out of the wall in the trash. But you might be passing up the chance to make a pleasant refuge for birds. For this project, you’ll need an antique wall-mount sink for our feathered companions.

The project’s inspiration came from HGTV, which suggested selecting a tree with a level trunk. It is necessary to install the sink thirty inches above the floor using wood screws, PVC piping, and a drain plug. Once the sink is fixed into the tree, you can fill the birdbath with water and decorate it with stones or shells.
