You may try using a spoon. Hold the jar and spoon firmly. Nestle the spoon between the jar’s lid and the glass, then insert it into the crack. Push upward and backward. Press up to loosen the lid. Keep going until the lid gives. Finally, drop the spoon and twist off the lid.
