On the floor of Little Traverse Bay, the white marble statue was buried under twenty feet of water and ice. As you may imagine, the statue is the only pants crucifix discovered in freshwater. The statue was abandoned in the bottom of the Bay, viewable only to those who dared to travel out there, after it was discovered in 2019.
