In 1905, the Dimitrii Donskoi came into contact with the ocean floor. The Russian navy vessel was severely damaged during a fight and was eventually scuttled after serving for a considerable amount of time.

A treasure-hunting company declared in 2018 that they had located the ship’s wreck and that it contained about $133 billion in gold.
