Nearly much of the enormous land is composed of live and cut granite. The arches and vaults on the façade of the home give it the appearance of a medieval fortress. David Abercrombie gave police officers permission to drill with rifles on his farm. The estate deteriorated following Abercrombie’s 1931 passing.
