Appropriately named for its 106 storeys, The Exchange 106 in Kuala Lumpur, which soars to a height of 1462 feet, is currently among the world’s fifteen tallest structures. The Mulia Group designed and developed this enormous structure, with Peter Chan listed as the architect. The project’s plans were prepared with the intention of a quick and effective build, as evidenced by the two- to three-day average that each level of the exchange took to complete.

It took only three years from the start of plot construction for employees to begin moving into their offices, which is a remarkable accomplishment given the scope of the project. The Exchange 106 is the second-largest concrete pour in history, having used 20,200 cubic meters of concrete over the course of an astounding 48 hours to build a structure the size of eight Olympic swimming pools. It is anticipated that the full project will be finished by the third quarter of 2021.
