In 2014, Shepherds found Gafsa Beach. Locals can’t help but dive into the lake, even though authorities have declared the murky-green waters carcinogenic. Some argue that the emergence of groundwater is the result of seismic activity, whereas others disagree. In any case, residents of the Tunisian desert have found Gafsa to be incredibly thrilling.
