A penny (or another coin, if the screw is particularly huge) might be able to help if you have a small screw that needs to be undone. Insert a penny’s edge into the longest groove on the screw head. Turn the screw counter-clockwise after that. This should release the screw; however, keep in mind that this technique is only effective for large screws—not microscopic ones.
