There were tunnels, residences, places of worship, and more in the three-story metropolis. Neveshir’s flooding issues could be explained by the fact that portions of the city were flooded. Anthropologists in Turkey believe that a little figurine found in one of the rooms of this long-lost sanctuary served as some kind of symbol for the ancient occupants of this underground metropolis.
