On his street, in one of New Orleans’s oldest neighborhoods, he discovered thirteen caskets. It turns out that the earliest cemetery ever existed was in the 1700s, right in the homeowner’s neighborhood. Given that this was the French Quarter, the homeowner stated he anticipated finding “something,” but he didn’t anticipate finding human remains.
