Upon opening it, they found $52,000 worth of goods, which included jade, gold, $100 notes, and diamonds. Additionally, there was an address belonging to the Emanuels’ neighbors inside the bag. Asking if they had ever been robbed, Matthew and Maria went to the people next door. A lengthy narrative later, the NYPD was able to reunite the robbery victims with their $52,000 worth of belongings. The neighbors indicated they had done so some years prior.
