Two guys in California begin their crazy adventure by excavating in their backyard. In their backyard, they unearthed a rare 1974 Ferrari Dino GTS a few feet below the surface. The fact that the dinosaur was shoddily covered in tarp and towels suggested that its previous owner intended to excavate it eventually.

However, that is only part of the tale. It turns out that in order to commit insurance fraud, Dino’s previous owner paid robbers to take his vehicle and dispose of it in the water. Rather, in an attempt that never materialized (although the previous owner’s insurance fraud scheme was successful), the robbers buried the car with the intention of returning to retrieve it. This ridiculous story’s plot would be fantastic for an IMAX film.
