The two started to dig, and they didn’t have to go far before coming upon an expensive treasure. A gold pendant with a picture of Jesus on the cross was hidden four inches below the surface. After the treasure was delivered to a lab, scientists discovered it belonged to the fifteenth century. An estimate of the treasure’s worth was $350,000.
