The rebuilt One World Trade Center was finished thirteen years after the deadliest foreign attack on American soil in modern history. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is the center’s primary owner, and it was built for little under $4 billion.

The observation deck is spread across three floors, with the 100th floor serving as the viewing area. The building’s opulence is partly intended to symbolize American resiliency and pay tribute to the courageous men and women who gave their lives on that tragic day.
Located on the grounds adjacent to the Ground Zero Memorial, the new trade center is currently the highest structure in New York. Five structures total, including a National September 11th Memorial and Museum, are part of the project’s final design.
