7. The Lotte World Tower

The 123-story Lotte World Tower, standing at a height of 1823 feet, is the highest structure on the Korean Peninsula and the fifth-tallest structure globally.

The Lotte Group commissioned the American architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox to create a building that would be visually stunning even on cloudy days and rise above the clouds.
The skyscraper was eventually prepared for public opening after thirteen years of design and a further seven years of construction. The observatory of the Lotte World Tower opened its doors in 2017 and welcomes over 50 million visitors annually.
