The Marina Bay Sands in Singapore could only be built thanks to a contract that the Las Vegas Sands Corporation obtained in 2006. It was constructed for less than $7 billion and consists of three buildings joined by the 3900-person Skypark.

Midway through February 2011, two years after its original completion date, “The Sands” held its formal grand opening. With a casino, ice rink, and retail center, the Marina Bay Sands offers something for everyone.
It also features a theater that can accommodate more than 2,000 people, where productions like Wicked and The Lion King have been held. The 478-foot-long infinity pool on the roof, however, is the complex’s “piece de resistance.”
