Vinohrady, a district of Prague, was included in this year’s list of top urban districts. I have a lot to say about this wonderful coincidence because my office is in this neighborhood. Without a doubt, Vinohrady is a fantastic neighborhood, and I really like the area near the Americká Street fountain. There’s something special about the entire block leading down to Francouzská Street; it’s quiet and serene, lined with lots of cafes, and ends at the lovely Havlíček Gardens park.
I recommend looking at the list of the Top 10 Best Urban Neighborhoods. Examining the list, let’s determine which cities can really claim to have the best neighborhoods.
1 North Rethyr, Copenhagen

The neighborhood of Nørrebro is situated in the northern region of Copenhagen. Its ultra-modern architecture, eateries, and cafes are all perfectly balanced. There are lots of exhibitions, street performances, and days without cars throughout the weekends in the region.
2 Chicago’s Andersonville

Known for its LGBTQ nightlife and its Clark Street clubs and restaurants, Andersonville was once a Swedish enclave. There have been new bars and eateries in the region for the past year. Andersonville also has various beaches and a waterfront for strolls at your leisure.
3 Seoul’s Chongno-gu

The center of Seoul, Chongno-gu, is encircled by palaces and art galleries. It is the location of the stunning Gyeongbokgung Palace with its Kwanghwamun Gate and the Buddhist monastery Jogyesa. With a concentration of street sellers offering spicy fried seafood, rice rolls (kimbap), and other foods, the region has its own unique character. Seoul’s center of traditional LGBTQ culture is Chongno-gu. Enjoy seaweed roll roulette and pancakes made by Mashe here. You may also wander down a peaceful street that goes by the shrine’s stone wall, scholars.
4 Leith, Edinburgh

Leith was a stand-alone harbor town for many years. Currently, this area serves as Edinburgh’s cultural hub and is home to a variety of artifacts. This metamorphosis resulted from the conversion of numerous industrial spaces into performance art zones. Traditional bars and eateries offering seafood can be found along the waterfront. The former royal yacht Britannia is located in the neighborhood and is open for tours.
5 Vilnius’s Fifth Railway District

Vilnius’ Railway District is a hub for street art and a self-described republic of artists. The Loftas Fest festival and concerts are held on the site of the former Soviet factory. There are a lot of eateries serving international food in the district. But this special mix won’t last forever; the station will soon be reconstructed, and the atmosphere of the location will probably vanish as well.
6 Chelsea, New York

The High Line is an elevated park built on the site of abandoned train tracks in the Chelsea neighborhood. More than 200 art galleries that are housed in disused industry buildings may also be found there. The Chelsea Market complex, which has a food market, eateries, and retail establishments, is another reason for the district’s fame.
7 11th District, Budapest

Once solely recognized for the Gellért Baths, Öjbuda, or the 11th district of Budapest, is now home to a plethora of superb cafes, bars, and art galleries. The area has lovely sandy beaches with bars, an outdoor theater, and a concert auditorium atop an old ship.
8 Ngor, Dakar

Situated on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, the Ngor district has a laid-back vibe. It is dotted around the Senegalese capital’s coastline and is full of athletes, surfers, and divers. Along with a maze of little urban alleys, golden sandy coves, and distinctive street art, the promenade has a lot of lively eateries and pubs.

Three general divisions can be made of the Richmond district. Vietnamese food is widely available on Victoria Street. Bridge Road is renowned for its fashion and furniture stores. Church Street is well known for its top-notch eateries and cafés.
