It’s the season to be cheerful. Until your neighbor shows up on your doorstep carrying these horrible cupcakes and wrecks the whole thing. The pandemic has made baking increasingly popular this year as more people try to amuse themselves at home by experimenting in the kitchen.

Though you have to draw the line somewhere, God likes a trier. With stores like Target selling 24 beautifully adorned festive cupcakes for about $7, it makes little sense to spend $20 on materials (mostly frosting in this example) when the end product looks like this. We have to say no.
Positively, if there’s enough alcohol on the table during the holiday get-together, someone will consume it. It’s perfect with the Jello salad your aunt always brings, and it will be perfect with these as well. Just don’t count on receiving any praise.
