Despite her fondness for Corgis, Prince William and Kate seem to be more of a Cocker Spaniel devotee. Following Kate and William’s wedding in 2012, James Middleton, Kate’s brother, gave the couple an English Cocker Spaniel. For nine years, the family cherished the Spaniel, named Lupo.

Lupo provided companionship to Kate during her husband’s weeks-long absence in the Falkland Islands. Unfortunately, the Spaniel died earlier in 2021. Although the royal couple stated that their cherished dog Lupo would always be a member of their household, they did replace Lupo with another Spaniel.
