This clever mine flail vehicle was built by a Scottish business called Aardvark Clear Mine Ltd. A mine flail system is an apparatus installed on a vehicle that deliberately detonates landmines in front of it to provide a safe passage across a minefield. The mine flail is mounted atop an Aardvark JSFU Mark 4 vehicle.

Apart from its Aardvark clearance machine, the JSFU is equipped with a double-skin cab floor and an armored cab with 56mm armored glass windows. A sixteen-speed transmission and a 160-horsepower New Holland diesel engine power the JFSU. There are sixty-six tips and seventy-two chains in the flail system.
