Use Popcorn to Teach the Game of Fetch
You would believe that from the start, all dogs will grasp catch and retrieve as an easy activity. For some, though, it requires some instruction; your dog may not get the idea initially. Start with something delicious that the dog most definitely wants to run after to help it develop the habit of chasing whatever you toss at it. Popcorn is just such item. At last you may graduate to catching and retrieving balls and other canine toys.
Just be sure the popcorn you toss for your dog is plain popcorn instead of buttered, seasoned, or sweet popcorn—which dogs shouldn’t consume.
