Homemade Doggy Ice Pops Are the Best Summer Treat
Dogs enjoy the chilly sensation of eating cold food just as people want to cool themselves in the summer with a popsicle or ice cream. All you have to create them at home is mix dog-safe fruit—such as strawberries and bananas—with water. Pour the mixture into popsicle moulds; freeze the moulds half an hour. Remove the moulds and place a dog biscuit inside to act as the edible popsicle stick. About six hours should go in returning the moulds to the freezer until they are frozen all the way through.

To give your ice pops some nutritional content, substitute some of the water with a tablespoon (for little dogs) or two tablespoons (for larger dogs), Greek yoghurt is actually rather healthy for dogs’ stomachs.
