All that can be said is that something was “lost in translation.” This customer was taken aback when she received a whole bird on top of her pizza, even though she had chosen chicken. Maybe the server was perplexed because ordering chicken as a topping is not a typical occurrence in Israel.

The question of how many people witnessed this order prior to it being fulfilled must be asked, though. At least some of the front-of-house, server, and kitchen workers must have noticed this birdy pizza and wondered whether there might have been an error. Nobody would want to “lick this chicken,” I’m sure.
