Many people believe that human ears continue to grow larger each year, but this is not entirely accurate. While our ears may appear to change in size and shape over time, humans actually have the largest ears in our species’ history. However, when compared to certain animals, our ears are relatively small. Nature has blessed many creatures with impressively large ears, from exotic wildlife to our beloved pets like dogs and cats. These animals often seem to have ears they haven’t quite grown into yet, adding to their charm and uniqueness. In the following collection, you’ll discover some of the most wonderful examples of animals with remarkably large ears, showcasing the diversity and beauty of the animal kingdom.
Peekaboo
We have to applaud the numerous individuals out there who commit their life to assisting abandoned or injured animals. Though it’s difficult and heartbreaking labour, they persevere to it for the animals’ sake. Just look at those big ears; this person wound up with a brown long-eared rescue bat in their living room.

Although we adore everything about this bat and its ears, our true passion is the fact that he seems to have ears within of his ears! You cannot un-see them either when you see them.
What a Sweet Face
Although a number of these kitties have already shown up on this list, they are still really adorable. Actually, the more we see these Adam Driver cats, we believe we are becoming more and more in love with them. And the fact that, without such large ears, they would look somewhat normal for cats makes us most fond of them. Still, most of the time the ears seem to be disconnected from their face.

This cat gives the impression of wearing a Halloween headband with enormous ears attached. And if he just removed the headband at day’s end, that would be very humorous.
What a Sweetheart
Getting your dog seen by the veterinarian is a full process. While some puppies are totally afraid, others clearly adore the vets and the attention they get from all the people surrounding them. This puppy seems very terrified to be seated on the table, hence we will presume she is the latter from her facial expression. Still, if anything makes her loo even more adorable.

From this vantage point, her enormous ears’ actual extent is clear; they are clearly puppy ears! Let’s hope her owners value them while they are still really large; it seems as though they go smaller as she gets bigger.
