Isuzu is well-known for its diesel engines and utility vehicles. Not this time, though. In the eighties and nineties, they wanted to race in Formula One. What then did they do? They worked on a Formula One engine in secrecy. Unfortunately, Japan’s economic difficulties prevented the V12 engine from reaching its full potential.
