The Daihatsu Naked, which combines a Hummer look with a box on wheels, has a distinctly militaristic vibe. When the five-door vehicle debuted in 1999, it was clearly an urban vehicle, drawing inspiration from famous off-road vehicles. The Fiat Panda had a big impact on the car’s interior design.

Before finally ending production, the car was in production for a full five years, but it did pave the way for a new kind of on-road vehicle. Several vehicles, such as the Citroen C3 XTR, borrowed some of Naked’s tough bodywork elements.
