Armed similarly to an armored personnel carrier, the BRDM-2 is BTR-60PB compatible. Despite its hefty armor, this vehicle is not without its flaws. It is practically impossible to leave the vehicle during combat because there is just one exit—through the front hatches—which puts crew members in direct line of fire. Although some have been updated, most BRDMs still have this issue.
