The VT-2 is similar to the Type 96 in that regard. Since it is the export variant, this differs from Type-96A. When the VT-2 made its debut in 2012 at the Defense Services Asia Exhibition, many were astounded by its powers. An armed system that can be operated remotely is called a remote weapons station.

The VT-2 also has the capacity to rotate on its own axis and has a top speed of 43.4 mph on the road, which is quite fast for a tank. Financially speaking, the tank is somewhat less expensive than the VT1 and VT4 tanks due to the materials utilized, but it still has roughly the same specifications as the Type 96.
