The majority of the M1200 Armored Knights are armored vehicles that have been employed by the US military in Iraq. The M1200 was designed to be an armored vehicle that could keep up with Combat Observation and Lasing Teams, and it went into service in the late 2000s.

The M707 Knight, which was simply a Humvee with a few modifications, was superseded by the M1200. Fire support troops operating in a high-threat environment are shielded by the M1200. Its arsenal includes a laser designator and rangefinder, GPS, radios, computers, and numerous other data-gathering devices that enable it to quickly deliver firepower to a target.
