The ZTZ-99A, also referred to as the Type 99, is a subtype of China’s third-generation main battle tank, the ZTZ-99. The A version of the weapon is a deadly update and a formidable foe for anyone who encounters it, even if not much is known about the majority of its weaponry because they are classified. The 99A is equipped with a contemporary fire control system and a 125mm cannon.
