Many international armed forces employ the adaptable Hercules as their primary tactical airlifter, and it can also be used as a gunship for airborne assaults. Hercules comes in forty varieties, including non-military ones. Although the Lockheed L-100 is used in more than sixty countries, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom are its primary markets.
