7. Vietnam’s Golden Bridge

Situated in Da Nang, Vietnam’s Ba Na Hills

Expense: $2 billion *
Although bridges sometimes go by the name “Golden,” the Golden Bridge we are referring to is located in Ba Na Hills, Da Nang, Vietnam, not the one in Germany or India. Just 490 feet separate the pedestrian bridge known as the Golden Bridge. It avoids a severe ascent by connecting the gardens and the cable car station. Its construction cost, even for its relatively small length, was an astounding $2 billion.

Two hands made of wire mesh and fiberglass support the Golden Bridge as though they are carrying the entire structure. The creative minds behind the bridge design, TA Landscape Architecture, shared goals with BrightView, an American enterprise. The building of the Golden Bridge commenced in 2017 and was completed in a year.
The Golden Bridge in Vietnam should not be mistaken with the same-named bridges in Germany and Russia. In the city of Dusseldorf, the Golden Bridge in Germany is the longest pedestrian bridge. Constructed in 2006, the Russian Golden Bridge spans the Golden Horn Bay and is the world’s fourteenth-longest cable-stayed bridge.
