2. Singapore’s Helix Bridge

Situated in Singapore’s Downtown Core
Founded in 2010
Expense: $66.32 million
The Helix Bridge, often known as “The Helix,” is a remarkable building in Singapore, particularly at night when it is illuminated with blue and green lights to create the impression of a helix. This 918-foot pedestrian bridge connects Marina South and Marina Bay Centre. The Benjamin Sheares Bridge is adjacent to the Helix. On April 24, 2010, it opened late, and viewers were astounded to see it completely lit up.

Accompanying it is the vehicle-spanning Bayfront Bridge. Similar to EPM in the United States, ARUP Pte Ltd. is an Australian company that invented the Helix. The Helix was created using a left-handed DNA design, earning the firm a spot in the Left-Handed Hall of Fame in 2010.
The Helix features canopies constructed of fritted glass and perforated steel mesh to provide shade for spectators at its four viewing platforms, which are positioned to offer the best view of the Singapore skyline. The Helix’s breathtaking vistas and lighting make it one of Asia’s most photographed locations.
