Ghana is renowned for its breathtaking tropical forests and preserved natural areas. Locals who wanted to showcase Ghana’s natural beauty founded Kakum National Park. In Africa, the Kakum Canopy Walkway is one of just three. There is no room for the weak of heart on the Canopy Walkway.

With a length of 1,150 feet, the Canopy Walk links seven treetops and gives interested visitors access to the forest. If you were walking on the ground, you wouldn’t be able to see the plants and animals that you can see now. At 130 feet high, the walkway is more like a collection of hanging bridges than a single hanging bridge.
