The Elsinore Naval Military School is this grand, deserted building. It was previously intended to be an upscale country club, but it is rapidly collapsing. Unfortunately, due to financial restraints brought on by the Great Depression, the country club was unable to open after it was constructed. It was transformed into a military academy in the 1930s.

Up until its closure in 1977, the school was attended by 150–200 children, including the sons of well-known people like Barbara Rush, Brian Keiths, and Bela Lugosi. The Elsinore School was partially damaged by vandalism, squatters, and bad weather in the 1980s, and it burned down partially even after that.
