R.W. Bishop purchased a Woody Wagon in 1947. His interest in the theme park business was piqued by that, and it led to the creation of the now-closed Enchanted Forest Playland. Bishop paid $35,000 for a sizable piece of land in 2000.

After that, he built rides and other attractions, and the Enchanted Forest operated for five years until closing because of financial difficulties. All that’s left of the park are its remnants, which include a massive clown ride. Enchanted Forest Playland had rides, picnic spots, a mini-golf course, and a river walk back when it was at its peak.
