Originally known as Camp Patrick Henry, N-85 was converted into a missile facility in 1958 and served as Nike Ajax’s base until 1971. Even now, there are still rising radar towers and abandoned structures, and snakes as well as those who enjoy exploring abandoned locations frequent this area. If you decide to visit, keep an eye out for the numerous snakes and unusual insects that are known to reside in N-85.
