This abandoned artefact is located in Manhattan, New York City, under the Queensboro Bridge. A reminder of the area’s defunct trolley system is provided by the Queensboro Trolley Kiosk. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, this kiosk would collect passengers from trolleys that stopped at the bridge and traveled across New York.

The kiosk was embellished with copper, glazed tiles, and other vibrant materials. However, the Kiosk and other trolley stops throughout the city were abandoned after the trolleys ceased service in the 1950s. Only the Queensboro Kiosk remained on its original site; the white-and-green building is now walled, deserted, and mostly unrecognised.
