5.SubRoc (UUM-44 SUBROC)

Launching nuclear depth charges through a submarine’s torpedo tubes, the Submarine Rocket (SUBROC) technology transformed anti-submarine warfare. Exiting the sea, this remarkable weapon would follow a ballistic trajectory across the air and then re-enter the sea close to enemy submarines. Having a 25–30 nautical mile range, it gave submarines hitherto unheard-of capacity for standoff attack. Though never utilised in battle, the nuclear warhead of the system presented terrible capability against opposing submarine units. Among the most technologically advanced weapons of its day, its complex navigation system could explain sea conditions, submarine depth, and target movement.

6.Harpoon Anti-Ship Missile System

Among the most effective anti-ship weapons ever used has been the submarine-launched Harpoon missile system. The Harpoon offers submarines a potent long-range strike choice against surface boats with its active radar guidance, sea-skimming flight profile, and sophisticated terminal homing capabilities. Many naval forces have chosen the missile because of its over 150 nautical mile range and capacity to run in all weather. Regular upgrades made possible by its modular architecture help to fight changing threats and defence systems.
