When purchasing Permatex paint tubes, it is easy for someone who is not paying close attention to become confused. Permatex sold a red tube of Threadlocker Blue Paint and a blue tube filled with Threadlocker Red paint. One would think that the firm would have matched the color of the tube to the paint.

Since Permatex also distributes professional-grade goods, typically to contractors, it is doubly irresponsible to have the labels not match the color of the tubing. The main thing to remember is that before applying Permatex to anything, make sure you thoroughly read the labels. Aside from this peculiar packing defect, the company’s Amazon rating seems to be really high.
