The Löwchen is also referred to as the Petit Chien Lion in its home country or the Little Lion Dog. The dog is undoubtedly a non-sporting canine and is categorized as a toy. The quantity of paintings and tapestries that depict the dog attests to its history, which began in Europe in 1422.

It was bred to be a royal court dog, a companion to affluent elites who would laze around in opulence all day. Even if their numbers are rising presently, the Löwchen was formerly one of the rarest kinds in the world.
It’s unlikely that this young lion will develop into a real bruiser. It can support up to eighteen pounds in weight. The Lowchen is lively, bright, and content.
