It’s hardly unexpected that many people have chosen to give Queen Elizabeth II horses over the years, given her reputation for having a deep affection for them. Among them is King Faisal II of Iraq, who gave Her Majesty an Arab stallion as a coronation gift in 1953.

In addition to the Arab horse, the Middle East Eye reports that King Ahmad bin Yahya of Yemen also gave Queen Elizabeth II an Arab mare named Al Masouda (The Lucky One) and an Arab stallion named Alhehal (Crescent Moon)” that same year.
