While excessive amounts of sugar and olive oil can upset your stomach, when combined, they are excellent skin-care exfoliators and moisturizers. Combine sugar and olive oil for a high-quality hand wash alternative if you don’t want to pay $10 to $20 for it at the shop.

Your skin is exfoliated by sugar and moisturized by oil. Additionally, the oil will stop the sugar grains from flaking too much. Combine one cup normal sugar, one tablespoon olive oil, and one tablespoon Dawn dish soap to make this hand scrub. Feel how smooth your hands are after giving them a good scrub and rinsing them off.
