There seems to be a new automobile added to the category every year as a result of the rise in popularity of midsize SUVs in recent years. Now that there are 26 midsize SUVs on the list, it’s even more amazing that the Dodge Journey, which is presently ranked #6 on RepairPal’s list, has managed to hold onto a top-ten position when reliability is taken into consideration.

The average yearly cost of servicing a Journey is $562, which is only $10 less than the average for midsize SUVs. If building a dependable vehicle with lower-than-average maintenance costs was Dodge’s intention, then I think it’s reasonable to say that the company was resoundingly successful in achieving that aim.
