The Children’s Caring Cross is another well-known item of jewellery that the late Princess of Wales wore. In 1991, Princess Diana paid a visit to Sao Paulo, Brazil. She visited an orphanage for neglected kids, and a golden cross and chain were captured in her picture. As expected, Diana gave the pricey piece of jewellery to the children to play with.

Diana afterwards contributed the Children’s Caring Cross to a charitable sale. The auction was scheduled for 1997, however it was never held. Rather, the Cross was kept in storage for twenty years until it was bought by a young Australian jewellery collector.
