For a while, Conor McGregor was unmatched in the UFC when it came to talking the talk and doing the walk. Then something changed. The outcome of Conor’s fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov was a defeat. When the game was declared, Khabib was eager to continue challenging opponents. The Irishman took action, as any experienced combatant would. He retaliated violently.

Conor McGregor, who isn’t accustomed to taking the defensive position in these post-fight altercations, was given a smaller punishment this time. He paid a $50,000 fine in addition to a six-month suspension. Strangely enough, McGregor allegedly earned that amount in 2018 from his sponsorship deal with Monster Energy Drinks.
