The Maxima received a 3.5 out of 5 reliability rating, which US News considered to be “above average.” Owners of Motor Biscuit claim that issues with the Maxima’s air conditioner are the most frequent ones. It is typical for the low-pressure AC hose to leak at the crimped connection. Low pressure results from that; therefore, the air conditioner will blow heated air rather than cool air. It is a rather easy remedy, despite being frequently reported.
