The largest diamond from Queen Victoria’s original Regal Circlet, which is presently set in the Queen Mother’s crown, was removed during its dismantling. The Museum of London is the current home of the frame.

Regarding the tiara that Sophie, Countess of Wessex, wore on her wedding day, there is some conjecture. The detachable fleur-de-lis, Maltese cross, and anthemion pieces of this circlet are reported to be exact replicas of the original Regal Circlet.
